In 2023 it was valued at $54.2bn and it is predicted to reach a huge $188.9bn in 2033.

One Global supplier TBR Global Chauffering is one of the big players in this world market, with Europe playing a significant role in these figures.

We spoke to TBR to see what is in store for the future of the chauffeuring industry after the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) estimated overall global business travel spending could top $2 trillion by 2033.

They revealed they are excited about the potential within the expanding chauffeur market, with demand now surpassing pre-pandemic levels and continuing to grow.

Graeme Haining, Head of EMEA at TBR, said: “TBR’s unique operating model positions us perfectly to meet this surge in demand with ease, while maintaining the highest quality standards on a global scale.

“Our extensive affiliate network spans over 3,000 cities worldwide, enabling us to remain agile in responding to growing demand across key locations. Meanwhile, our scalable proprietary software ensures that every service is meticulously managed and delivered anywhere in the world, undergoing a 14-step quality control process as standard.”

This growth trajectory is further supported by forecasts of increasing global business travel expenditure, with 40% of businesses planning to expand their travel budgets by 2025.

The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) estimates that this could exceed $2 trillion by 2028.

Graeme added: “TBR is well-positioned to benefit from established relationships within the TMC community, including our partnership with One Global.

“We recognise that this market expansion will drive higher demand from our corporate clients, and we remain committed to providing enhanced support through bespoke solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we will ensure seamless integration across travel platforms, enabling our clients to efficiently manage and optimise their travel programmes while delivering a smooth, hassle-free experience for booking teams.”

As competition within the market intensifies, TBR believes that its continued focus on technological advancement, white-glove service, and global flexibility will differentiate them across all sectors.

Graeme concluded: “We are excited by the opportunities ahead within One Global and remain dedicated to strengthening our partnerships within this rapidly growing community, affirming our position as the ground transportation provider of choice.”
