World Travel, Inc delighted at coveted accreditation
Having successfully gone through a vetting process, World Travel, Inc. is now officially certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).
Regulated by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the certification is the most widely recognised and respected national certification for women-owned businesses in the U.S.
Joint founder member of One Global, World Travel is 100% employee-owned and focuses on both employees and customers by prioritising excellent service, advanced technology, expert consulting and tailored solutions to meet specific customer needs.
Having been awarded the certification, World Travel said: “This certification underscores our dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in everything we do, as well as our unwavering commitment to promoting women in leadership roles for a more inclusive and equitable business environment.
“For our valued customers, choosing us as a WBENC-certified business provides the assurance that you are partnering with a credible and socially responsible company. It opens the door to new opportunities and demonstrates your commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and a more balanced and sustainable economy.
“We are excited about the opportunities our WBENC certification brings to World Travel, Inc. and our customers.”
World Travel had to go through a stringent vetting procedure which included a review of business documentation, as well as a site visit.
Now they have been accredited, World Travel can now use a Women Owned logo and Women’s Business Enterprise seal as a marketing tool to promote their business and expand the company’s visibility.
But what benefits could this accreditation bring?
According to WBENC, certification can bring access to supplier diversity and procurement executives at hundreds of major U.S. corporations and federal, state, and local government entities that accept WBENC Certification.
There are also opportunities – formal and informal – to pursue business with corporate and government members, as well as with other WBENC-Certified WBEs.
Add to that, access to networking events, procurement opportunities, mentoring, executive education, capacity development programs, and other business tools and resources, as well as eligibility for regional and national recognition and awards.
WBENC is a non-profit organisation and its community of support from other female business owners and like-minded professionals sees them dedicated to the growth and success of women-owned businesses.
